Restorative yoga involves holding poses for extended periods, often with the support of props like blankets, bolsters, and blocks to ensure complete comfort and relaxation. The goal is to release tension in the body and calm the mind, allowing the nervous system to reset and rejuvenate. This practice is ideal for anyone looking to reduce stress, recover from illness or injury, or simply unwind and reconnect with their body.
